Springtime? Anytime! Cocktail!

Recently we had the pleasure of working with a wonderful client who selected their own “speciality-cocktail-of-the-day” : The Porch Swing.KUSHNERWhat better way to celebrate a milestone event than to throw a cocktail party at home, featuring fun party food accompanied by a delicious cocktail! We had never heard of this “gin lovers” drink so we thought we would share it with you! Bakers’ Best of Needham not only provided delicious food, but a bartender that was shaking drinks all afternoon!

Here is the recipe:

ice, 1.5 oz gin , 1.5 oz Pimm’s No. 1, 4 oz. lemonade, 5 thin slices cucumber, cut into half moons, splash of 7-Up or lemon soda

Fill a Collins glass and a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the gin, Pimm’s, and lemonade to the shaker and shake vigorously. Strain into the glass. Add the cucumber half-moons, top with the 7-Up (or lemon soda) and serve!
