The 2013 annual “Stepping Out” event at Temple Israel, Boston provided its guests with the unexpected — an evening of “Cirque Nouveau” provided by New York City based Cirque-tacular –  complete with contortionists, acrobats, a tapas menu and visually eye-catching decor. We focused on simple elements while managing a “mindful budget” — requiring smart and thoughtful choices. s.h created whimsical table top decor adding a punch of color throughout the room while getting a splash and drama from a black & white checkerboard dance floor — enhanced by plenty of up-lighting!
